CityBeat Festival of Beers

The CityBeat Festival of Beers is back in San Diego on Saturday, May 1st from 12noon to 6pm at a brand new location – right in front of the Lafayette Hotel on El Cajon Blvd. in North Park – featuring live music and all of San Diego’s best craft brewing companies.

Participating craft breweries include Airdale Brewing Company, Allagash Confluence Ale, Angel City Brewing, Ballast Point Brewing Company, Black Market Brewing Company, Bayhawk Ales, Bosteel Breweries, Cold Spring Moonlight Ale and Honey Almond Weiss, Coronado Brewing Company, Deschutes Brewery, Firestone Walker Fine Ales, Gordon Biersch, Green Flash Brewing Company, John Hentry Three Lick Spiker Ale, Karl Strauss, La Jolla Brew House, Laguinitas Brewing Company, Lightning, Lucifer, Marin Brewing Company, Maui Brewing Company, Mendocino Brewing Company, Cerveza Mexicali Beer, Mission Brewery, Big Sky Moose Drool, Nectar Ales, New English Brewing Company, North Coast Brewing Company, Oggi’s Pizza and Brewing Company, Palm Breweries, Pizza Port, Pyramid, Rock Bottom, Samuel Adams, San Diego Brewing Company, Sea Dog Brewing Company, Shipyard Brewing Company, Tailgate Beer, and Trumer Pils. And, participating craft beer taverns include: Blind Lady Ale House, Live Wire and Hamilton’s. Is that enough beer for you? Ya, that’s what we thought.

While you sip down San Diego’s finest craft beers, CityBeat will host live music on the Bar Pink stage. Festival of Beers bands include Apes of Wrath, The Softlightes, The Styletones, Geezer and Red Tiger.

Proceeds from the 3rd Annual CityBeat Festival of Beers benefits the San Diego Music Foundation. Tickets start at $30 for general admission and are available online at citybeatbeerfest.com.
