Buy Local, Hit Up Your Nearest Farmer's Market

Buying local is an easy way to get cheap and fresh veggies. Not only does it fatten your wallet and slim your waist but it also cuts down on the horrendous fuel prices of shipping all that crap in and packaging it at a store. You can support local farmers and the local economy and have fun doing it. Bring your own bags to kick up an even Greener edge. Some markets sport live music and they are all good for people watching and maybe even scoring a date (if it's not to early and no banana/cock jokes bros). And Farmer's Markets don't just have produce. You can find unique crafts, fresh flowers, fresh fish and delicious desserts and foods like hummus, crepes, kettle corn, cookies, tamales, jams, salsas and much much more!

I lover farmer's markets. And yes, they are filled to the brim with beautiful people. There used to be this metal-works guy at the hillcrest one who reminded me of Aidan from SITC, but was actually hot, too. And funny. le sigh.
