A&E Intervention

It's basically a show that takes about an hour to detail the life of someone addicted to something, inhalants, anorexia, and meth. They take accounts from their loved ones and what I liked is, the majority of the time they take accounts straight from the person addicted. In the end there is a suprise intervention. After watching one episode I might need an intervention to break away from this show. It's honest and really affected me. Some of these families are hopeless as the person addicted, they don't know what to do as they watch a loved one slowly die. I watched the episode with Allison, who was sucking on cans of electronic cleaner for almost the entire episode. It was insane to see someone so self destructive, but the girl had issues and when they were finally solved she began her road to recovery. Geez after all that, I needed a happy ending. Not sure if all of them turn out that way but check out part 1 of 5 from the episode with Allison. Maybe this is an addiction worth starting.
