True or False: There was a violent coup de etat in Chile on September 11, 1973 that the Nixon Administration spent over 6 million dollars to support? True. It kicked off a horrific dictatorship in Chile that lasted till 1990 resulting in thousands of exiled citizens, arrests, torture and death.
