Things are getting tasty in Little Italy! I was really sad when Sushi Fix left (screw you haters), but luckily Sushi Deli isn't super far away from the Italianesque streets of downtown. And they healed the wound by FINALLY putting an F-ing pizza by the slice joint right in the heart. Pizzeria Luigi has already been enjoying major success as the place to stop and grab a slice and hit their back patio. You'd think Little Italy would already have pizza by the slice right!? So now a Santana's is going in, and yea it's not my favorite place for Mexican food but there was none before this in Little Italy. DON'T EVEN MENTION MEXICAN FIESTA. The tiny taco stand on South India Street was disgusting. Had a California Burrito there that made my hangover WORSE, can you believe that? It's like having Tylenol that gives you a splitting headache. And one of the best parts is, I hear this location has a drive through which makes all Santana's experiences so much more wonderful. I don't recommend California Burritos here (La Posta in Hillcrest you do it so good!) but I adore the Quesomush (TRY IT) and love getting Veggie Burritos there with the grilled mushrooms!
