NOTE: Oh man, everyone driving into the hot bed of East County is going to FLIP over this. Even though Christian and Church billboards are A-ok! It's time people who don't believe that religion is helping anyone are heard. Wars, hate, gay people can't marry, racism, not teaching about condoms, intolerance, when is all this god/religion related madness going to end!?!?

SAN DIEGO - A shocking new billboard is sure to grab a lot of attention. It's scheduled to go up along side the Interstate 8 in La Mesa Wednesday near the 70th Street and Lake Murray exit.
It will feature a picture of the blue sky with puffs of clouds and and the words, "Don't believe in God? You're not alone."
The billboard is being put up by the San Diego Coalition of Reason which is made up of nine non religious groups including atheists and non-believers.
"We suspect that everyone driving by that billboard will have a reaction," said Debbie Skomer, the organization's coordinator. "Everyone has had a thought about God, what they think about god, what they believe about god, and whether or not they believe in god," she added.
"I'm a Christian and I was raised to believe in God and if I saw something like this, I would be very angry, extremely angry," said Jessica Wleh of Mission Valley.
"It's real negative," Brian Burns of North Park told Fox 5. "I think that's half of the reason of what's wrong with the world now, people like that with these crazy beliefs." (Oh really? Crazier than a part human part ghost who you live in the sky with when you die?)
Skomer said the group's intent is not to offend anyone, but rather to let non-believers know they're not alone.

It pleases me to no end to see this. Religious people feel free to be as vocal as they want to be, yet are shocked and dismayed that others may want to advocate their own beliefs, especially if said beliefs happen to be rational.
