Pitchfork bends over, grabs ankles and smiles for Apple
Pitchfork has a whole new look. It includes a massive banner courtesy of Apple. Of course, the COOL indie computer selling juggernaut that closly fits all Pitchfork wants to be. Sleek, indie, modern, and pretentious. God for a stuck up music site that bags on sell outs all the time im surprised they snatched the most likely thousands of dollars Apple is paying them to use the top half of their entire home page for advertising.
If Pitchfork were to write a review about it's new look it would probably start with something like this:
"Pitchfork. File them under: Indie Sell Outs with excuses most likely pointing to the recession (but really pointing toward eventual reviews on Miley Cyrus and rare footage of Jonas Brothers impromptu performances). This once bastion of solid music reviewing is now not interested in the art of up to date independent reports on music making but interested in keeping up with the capitalistic pursuits that tear apart the cultural fabric of a modern society."
Oh Pitchfork. I'm sure you are all pretentious as ever...and having fun with your new ipods....
