Budget Cuts are Deep
Our state has a 26.3 Billion dollar deficit. That is no kind of joke at all. And since or state government does not want to raise taxes (or legalize marijuana) this is only a small part of what you can look forward to:
---Tens of thousands of seniors and children would lose access to health care
---Local governments would sacrifice several billion dollars in state assistance ---Year thousands of convicted criminals could serve less time in state prison
---Welfare checks would go to fewer residents
---State workers would be forced to continue to take unpaid days off
---New drilling for oil would be permitted off the Santa Barbara coast.
