A new friend I made last night said she'd read that the San Diego Branch of Blick Art Materials sells the most canvasses of any of it's stores (33 Total). At first I was like, wow rad, screw all the people that say SD is just a vapid surf town!! Then I thought, no...other cities have WAY WAY more art stores and their people buy from independent sellers on a much more frequent basis I'm sure. Blick Art Materials was founded in 1911 so it's cool they've been around forever...
I'm trying to stop hating though...I love you San Diego but sometimes....sometimes I just wish you were NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, A CITY.....sigh....
